Frequently Asked Questions
Here you will find answers to some of the most commonly asked questions.
Q: Do you accept visitors to your home?A: We accept visits from serious prospective buyers only. Please do your breed research ahead of time, rather than hoping a visit will tell you if these pups are the right breed for you. Please contact us by e-mail or a phone call to set up a private appointment.
Q: How much do the puppies cost?A: We don't place our prices on our website because the market is always changing. We check websites with each new batch and keep our prices in the middle of the going range. We can tell you that we charge a deposit of $300 at the time you pick your puppy, which is non-refundable. The balance is due before you take your puppy home or before we ship the pup to you.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?A: If you are putting down a deposit on a puppy, we will accept either a personal check, Cashier's Check or by PayPal. When coming to pick up your puppy from us, we ask you to bring cash, a Cashier's Check or PayPal for the balance due.
Q: What else should I have ready to bring my new puppy home?A: We very much encourage crate-training, as is outlined in the "Super Puppy" book that comes with your puppy. A crate just big enough for your puppy to lie down and stand up in comfortably is perfect. Add a leash & collar, food & water bowls, and toys to round it all out.

Q: Can I bring my other dog when we come to visit?A: Sorry, but no. While you may wonder how your present pet will react to the new pup, it does not work well for us to invite any new dogs into our home because (1. it causes too much excitement for our own dogs, (2. we don't want to introduce any diseases into our home which your dog may potentially carry, and (3. the puppies' mother may get overly protective if another dog is in the house. However, as you consider the question, remember that dogs are pack animals and will get used to another dog in their house after the introductory period is over.
Q: Do you buy your puppies back, or refund our purchase price, if, at any time, we find ourselves unable to keep the dog we got from Golden Doodle Dandy?A: For various reasons, no, we will not buy back or offer a refund for any puppy or dog. However, we will happily take them back for re-homing. If you are having problems please call us so that we can help you work through what ever issues you are experiencing. The money that the new owners pay for the puppy would go to you, with the exception of a 40% commission that we would charge for the service. We are the best resource available for finding the perfect home for the dog you purchased from us.

Q: Can we have our puppy flown to us, and how do we go about making flight arrangements, if that is what we need?A: Presently, air flight will cost you an additional $450.00 dollars. This includes the flight, an approved travel crate (which you can then use for crate-training your puppy), a veterinary health certificate, and rabies vaccination if the puppy is old enough. All you have to do is let us know what city you want your pup to fly into, and when, and we'll make all the arrangements for you!
Q: What's in a Puppy Package? A: Our puppies come with their shots all ready started, regularly wormed, a well check from our friendly vet and a shot record for you to take to your vet. We will provide enough food for you to be able to switch them over to what you are going to be using along with some puppy pads (that's what they use in their birthing box) to help you start with house breaking. When possible they will come home with either a piece of a sleeping blanket or a toy so that they can smell something familiar those first few nights. They all already have collars so they are used to that but feel free to bring your own if you want. We go to great efforts to introduce the pups to new surroundings and different sized dogs so that they shouldn't be to surprised by too many new things when they go home with you. Another great resource that we have for you is a copy of "Super Puppy" that we send home with all of our new families. Even after you are home, if there are questions that we can help with we would be more than happy to do so.
